Description

Simon Wiesenthal asked a number of notable scholars and political and religious figures to write a response to the events he experienced during World War II and their responses make up Book II. In a 750-1000 word personal response essay, create your own response to the events of Book I, as though you will be contributing a new entry to Book II.

Use direct quotations from Wiesenthal and other responders in order to support your key points. Focus your essay on the concept of forgiveness, using The Sunflower to provide context to your thoughts on those ideas, rather than summarizing events already described in the book.
